Our Terms and Conditions of business are reproduced below and shall apply to all products and services supplied by Scarborough Spas whether offered for sale on this website or not.

Pricing & Supply

All prices quoted are in Sterling (GBP) and include VAT at 20.0% unless otherwise stated. Due to possible fluctuations in our supplier prices, we reserve the right to change our advertised price or the description given on this site for any item without notice. The price you pay for your goods is the price advertised when you place your order. If a product is shown on the web site but is not available or is incorrectly priced or otherwise incorrectly described, Scarborough Spas shall not be obliged to sell you that product. All orders for products are subject to availability and Scarborough Spas reserves the right to refuse to supply to any individual or company for whatever reason.

Hot Tub Spare Parts

Published product details, specifications and suitability information is the best available at the time. Scarborough Spas shall not be held responsible for the accuracy of any advice given regarding the suitability (or otherwise) of any part/s required for the repair of an appliance. If you have ordered an item that has an unsuitable product description we will remedy this by providing you a full refund upon the return of the item. Please see our Non Damaged / Faulty Goods Returns Policy for details.
Manufacturer's names are used for reference only. Products listed as a genuine part are made by the manufacturer and generic parts are listed as compatible with the manufacturer's finished model number. We encourage you to ensure all spare parts are fitted by a competent person in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Scarborough Spas cannot be held liable for any damage caused by the fitting of a spare part. Please ensure that you have read your warranty conditions before attempting to install a part or otherwise repair your appliance. Scarborough Spas cannot be held responsible if the appliance is damaged or your warranty is voided. Some manufacturer guarantees may be on condition that you use a qualified technician.

Security

We offer secure online ordering to ensure your financial safety and make online purchasing convenient and worry-free. We never copy your card details, store them in any other location or write them down. We realize that some customers do not feel comfortable ordering online. For this reason, we provide a phone number 01723 581510 for you to place an order over the telephone. All telephone orders are subject to these terms and conditions and will be treated as if they were placed on-line by yourself.

Payment Options

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Solo, Maestro, Delta and Switch. Cheques are accepted on orders received via mail but orders are not dispatched until cleared funds have reached our bank account. Payment by cheque can be a long process as we need to wait 6 working days from when banking the cheque before we can categorically confirm that your cheque has cleared. If you wish to pay by bank transfer this can be arranged by calling customer services. Payment for all goods is due with order.

Warranties

For all non-consumable items, we will supply you with goods that are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a minimum period of 6 months from the date of delivery. For the warranty details of all hot tubs please refer to the specific warranty documents contained on the web site and supplied with the product. All warranties are vested with the equipment manufacturer and are backed up by our own in house warranty. For all hot tubs please note that failure to supply the recommended power will void all warranties.

Original Purchaser & Location

All hot tub warranties are in effect for the Original Purchaser and at the Original Spa Installation Location. Movement of the Spa from Original Spa Installation Location results in void of all warranty unless authorized in writing from Scarborough Spas.. Extent Of Warranty

This Warranty does not extend to items, accessories or options added after factory manufacture.

Limitations And Exclusions

This warranty becomes void if the spa has been subjected to misuse, alteration or attempted alteration, repairs or attempted repairs by anyone other than Authorized Scarborough Spas Technician, or Dealer. If the failure is due to improper installation, improper water chemistry, improper maintenance, an act of God, weather conditions, or other damage from cause beyond the direct control of Scarborough Spas. Misuse and abuse shall include any operation of the spa other than directed in the Scarborough Spas Owner's Manual. Examples include, but are not limited to; Damage of surface due to leaving the spa uncovered or due to covering the spa with something other than Scarborough Spas authorized cover, Damage to the surface due to contact with unapproved cleaners or solvents, Damages caused by operation of water temperature outside of the approved 34F – 104F levels, Damage caused by unapproved sanitizers such as calcium hypochlorite, sodium hypochlorite, "tri-chlor" type chlorine or sanitizing chemical that remain undisclosed on the spa surface, Damage due to dirty, clogged or calcified filter cartridge, Damage caused by failure to provide an even, sufficient support of spa.

Disclaimers

Scarborough Spas or any of its authorized dealers or authorized service technicians shall not be held liable for injury, inconvenience, loss of use, chemical or water damage, transportation cost, contingent liabilities or any other incidental or consequential cost, expenses or damages as the result of any deficiency or alleged deficiency of the spa. In no event shall Scarborough Spas be liable, for any reason or cause in excess of the amount of the product. No other warranties, expressed or implied, are valid. No agent, dealer, distributor, service company or other party is authorized to change, modify, or extend the terms of this warranty in any manner whatsoever.

Warranty Effective

This warranty is effective for all spas manufactured after January 1 2006.
